JJ Jiang was born in China, trained as an architect and architectural historian with professional degrees from both the US and China. He practiced architecture as well as taught architectural design and history. Throughout his life watercolor painting has remained one of his great passions. He strives to use the medium of watercolor to reveal his inner poetry. JJ has lived in Cary, North Carolina since 1997 where he has established a successful architectural illustration business.
