Rogers loves to explore and to be surprised by happy accidents in her work. She does not plan her work in advance. She tries to dialog with the art as it is in process and listen to discover what it wants to be. Rogers often works in layers - some exposed, some hidden, some revealed after being scratched or removed in various ways. The result is a work with complex surfaces and great freedom of expression.
