ARTSPACE FIGURE STUDY PROGRAMS

LIFE DRAWING
7:30 -10:00pm, Tuesdays, Education Room
Walk-in basis, Bring own supplies (easels provided)
Cost: $8 general / $7 Artspace members and students (ages 18 and up)

Life Drawing is a non-instructional session that includes short gestures with several longer poses. It is held every Tuesday evening except during holidays. To be informed of the Life Drawing schedule, you may want to join the Figure Study email list. To be placed on the list, send an email request to info@artspacenc.org or call Artspace at (919) 821-2787.

Schedule
7:30pm – 8:45pm quick gestures and shorter poses
8:45pm – 9:00pm break
9:00pm – 10pm 20 or 30 minute poses
(participants are welcome to leave at any time, but the cost remains the same)
Participants are encouraged to work in any media (except photography) as long as it does not include noxious fumes.
Ring the doorbell to the right of Artspace's front door for entrance into the building.

Please note: To protect the privacy of our models, we cannot provide any information about the models other than gender.

LONG POSE FIGURE STUDY
September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 18, & 25
10:30am-1:30pm each Saturday
Price for four sessions: $48 general / $40 members and students
Drop-In Sessions: $16 general / $14 members and students

Long Pose Figure Study is a non-instructional session geared towards artists who want to work on one extended pose. It enables artists working in wet or dry media the opportunity to complete a figurative work.

At the first session attended, participants will receive a punch card good for four visits (particpants choose four of the six Saturdays). Registered participants can elect to attend the additional two sessions at the rate of $12 per session/$10 for members and students. Non-registered participants will pay the drop-in rate of $16 per session/$14 for members or students.

September dates (3) will feature a male model, October dates (3) will feature a female model.

Participants are required to bring their own supplies.

A minimum of 10 pre-registered participants is required for the program to take place. To register please call 919.821.2787.
